Follow-up: Even More CNN/YouTube Discoveries

November 29th, 2007

It seems a Hillary Clinton support wasn’t the only one who got through the CNN screening process for last nights debate. Free Republic, Michelle Malkin and the Republican leaning side of the blogosphere are going to town digging up information.

What did they find?

The girl in the blue dress who asked a question about abortion?

A John Edwards supporter.

Meanwhile David Cercone who asked if candidates would welcome the support of Log Cabin Republicans. He is a declared Barack Obama supporter. Here is his profile on Barack Obama’s Web site.

Yet another video, this one showing a mom with her two children, one said to have been adopted from China, asked about lead paint in toys. The questioner is LeeAnn Anderson:

A prominent Pittsburgh union activist–and aide to Leo Gerard, President of the American Steel Workers Union/John Edwards supporter.

Again the problem isn’t so much with the campaigns, they could easily claim all of these people went out on their own and most likely they did, even Clinton’s support who is only on a steering committee. The problem is with CNN who could have easily devoted an intern or two to go out and look over these questions.

If you remember Republicans were very skeptical about this debate and cancelled it before ultimately giving in and accepting. They were originally skeptical about being asked questions by snowmen. Instead CNN upped the stakes and had them be asked questions by concerned democratic voters.
