Chuck Norris Says McCain is Too Old

January 21st, 2008

One of the interesting things about campaign 2008 is seeing the buddy-comedy-esque pairing of Mike Huckabee and Chuck Norris. The two seem inseparable on the campaign trail and in many ways the film star has helped Huckabee appeal to voters on a light hearted level.

Like all campaign supporters and surrogates Norris can also say the things Huckabee would like to but cannot, enter the latest comments by Norris about John McCain’s age.

From CNN:

“If John takes over the presidency at 72 and he ages 3-to-1, how old will he be in four years? Eighty-four years old — and can he handle that kind of pressure in that job?” Norris said, as Huckabee looked on.

“That’s why I didn’t pick John to support, because I’m just afraid the vice president will wind up taking over his job within that four-year presidency,” added the action star.
