Joshua Green has a wonderful piece up at The Atlantic looking inside the departure of Solis Doyle from her position as campaign manager. Green maintains that despite statements to the contrary Solis Doyle was fired.

In addition Green reports that the title of campaign manager was “loftier” than her actual role. One thing is for sure, the piece holds no punches.

As much as Clinton touts her own “executive experience” and judgment, she made Solis Doyle her campaign manager because of Solis Doyle’s loyalty, rather than her skill, despite a trail of available evidence suggesting she was unsuited for the role.
