It’s the violation of Ethics as a Senator that matters – not the personal side
The personal aspect of this story is not as critical at this juncture, as is the possible ethics violations that are revealed in the NYT story – Clinton was impeached for lying about sex – This is a lot more serious, and should not be just let go, when this man could ultimately become president. NYT has a responsibility, not just to their readers, but to the country to follow through with this.

He should not be allowed to just do the “I DID NOT have sex with THAT woman” line, even though, that is not what is important in this whole expose….

I think it’s great! The GOP sure didn’t have any righteous indignation towards the “Gutter Politics” of the press!! Perhaps there was no cigar or blue dress involved in McCain’s case……

I’m sure his statement is nothing but true and honest (as honest as a politician can get, that is).

Funny, that he was diddling this woman about the same time he and his buddies went after Clinton for diddling an intern, at least an intern isn’t a conflict of interest like having an affair with a lobbyist, that and having lobbyist campaign for him and being part of the Keating five makes him look like a lying sack-of-crap.

Hey, but look on the bright side Republicans, at least it was a woman and an adult this time.

Why is it a nearly octagenarion seen talking to a woman is seen as an affair? Is this Sharia law?

I remind you at this time 8 years ago the Bush campaign erroneosly accused him of having a half black lovechild, this turned out to be his now 16 year old adopted daughter his wife and him picked up in the middle east.

Why is it unsubstantiated rumours from 8 years ago are front page news and Obama’s admitted “youthful indiscretions” in his book are “in the past”

Where did the headline come from? Nothing in the article repudiates the accusation, or even addresses it. It says “He has never violated the public trust, never done favors for special interests or lobbyists”, nowhere does it deny or even mention an affair. To me, that says more than the original article does.
