It’s not automatically, its just if you see a bunch of black guys on the street looking tough, and you’re alone walking by them, you’ll probably feel a little frightened, its a subconscious reaction.

Everyone has a little racism in them and are in complete denial if they say the don’t.

What makes Obama an expert on the “Typical white person”? I’m white, I am not automatically afraid of people, no matter their color on the street. I am wary of people when the environment is considered, not the color of their skin.

I live in the city and State where Obama made his now and forever memorable statements. As quiet as it is being kept, there are places in Philadelphia where I as an African-American would not walk alone, day or night. The far Northeast, parts of South Philly, parts of Kensington. We all know not to go there alone. Our State is the epitomy about what Obama was talking. So, America,don’t act like you don’t understand what Obama is saying. If you don’t know, then don’t come to Philadelphia.

It’s true that a white person couldn’t say that, but I don’t think white people need take any offense at that statement.
