This is one of those, not news but everyone will cover so I feel obligated to mention, pieces of fluff news that I always hate mentioning but do. ABC News is reporting that Senator Obama, who has been very public about his struggles with quitting smoking, has fallen off the wagon and smoked over the last few months.

While I am not a fan of smoking cigarettes and asthma prevents me from enjoying the occasional cigar these days (it stinks!), I have to say if anyone deserves a puff of tobacco to relax it is Obama. Running for president as a serious candidate is one of the most draining activities I can imagine and running the nation doesn’t seem that easy either. If a cigarette helps the man relax, I say enjoy. There are plenty of other vices, I am looking at you Mr. Clinton, a President can fall into and I will take this one over many of the others any day of the week.
