Clark is attacking the experience that McCain earned not the record (i.e. experience X while great is not a qualification for being President). Whereas the republicans in 2004 attacked Kerry's record itself (i.e. you shot yourself in the foot to get a medal and everything you did was a lie). <br><br>Is that different enough to be okay (in the public's mind)?
