AP looks at the early vote

Associated Press has info on votes cast thus far in some battleground states.

To summarize:

Nevada: Early voting in Las Vegas and Reno had 31,875 Democrats and 13,371 Republicans turn out with Republicans leading among absantees 6,616 to 6,161.

Florida: Republicans take the advantage with 295,000 absentee ballots statewide compared with 199,000 Democrats.

Georgia: 12% of the eligible population has already voted castin 55,709 ballots.

North Carolina: 214,000 voters went to the polls in the first two days of early voting 62% of which were Democrats and only 22% Republican.
