Obama has won the Presidential Election

Comment: Not to race to a finish here but if you REALLY want to go to bed tonight but want to be confident you know who won, I can safely say Obama will pull it off. With Ohio & Penn in his corner, it is nearly impossible for this to go McCain’s direction.

Comment #2: Dems will not get 60 votes in the Senate.

well, never heard of you but was looking for a non-partisan election day blog. First thing I saw was a misleading ad for McCain so I guess this ain't no non-partison site. byeeee

  2. bluewave Says:

You're not supposed to be so blind with patriotism that you can't face reality. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it. —-Malcolm X

McCain and Obama are the same animal. Listen to their rhetoric. What happened to the anit-war Obama who now can't wait to send more soldiers to Afghanastan? Where's the supposedly moderate McCain of last year? Both of their words are code to the ruling elites who put them in the race. It will be business as usual either way. Wrong is wrong.

    Vote for a REAL change:
    Jerry White, Pres.
    Bill Van Auken, V.Pres.
    Socialist Equality Party

  3. Election Geek Says:

Sorry but I don't control the advertising that directly, as I note on the About page I just let it run.

    Filthadelphia is at it again

  5. Randy Albrecht Says:

Americans cannot afford four more years of the same economic and overseas activities. It is well known that Republican imcumbants run up our national debt and are very wasteful with our tax money. I do not believe that we can win a war in Iraq or in any middleeast country. I have a friend that comes from overseas. He says that the United States is looked upon as a bully who pushes what they want on everyone.

Think about this, would you be all about freedom if the United States military had killed your family with bombings. Don't get me wrong, I support our troops. I wish the leadership that sent the troops to Iraq would have thought before acting. Why aren't we in Afghanistan where the terrorists are located.

  6. NEW HAMPSHIRE Says:

New Hampshire doesn't ID voters anyone with a piece of mail with a New hampshire address can walk up register to vote and vote. I'm gonna run over to the closest abandoned apartment building and Vote over & over again.

  7. NEW HAMPSHIRE Says:

“Randy Albrecht” you must have gotten an old ballot bush can't run for a thirrd term

  9. Nicholas Says:

Anyone fed up with political phone calls and people knocking on your door

I was getting so many phone calls to the point it was annoying and I ended up taking the phone of the hook so I could get some work done as I operate a small business out of my home. Not to mention two visits to my door in the middle of a busy work day.

The straw that broke the camels back when I go to the store and a stranger comes up to me and asks if I voted for Obama.

I didn't appreciate one bit having Obama supporters invade my personal space an time.

Needless to say Obama lost my vote thanks to his pushy tactics

  10. Tim Says:

We need to make sure to get the vote out. We cannot have Obama in office, him and his black panther friends will ruin our country.

  11. E Says:

Stupid question but how is it possible for analysts to predict a percentage of white and black votes when no where on the ballot did it ask my race, nor was my name on the ballot?

  12. Election Geek Says:

From Exit polling. They ask people as they are coming out who they are etc. Then use that sample to estimate the overall vote.

  13. as Says:

The country is making a huge mistake….HUGE! Military members everything are having a big injustice done to them…as well as the middle class.

  14. tanner Says:

how can they say obama won ohio with only 20% of votes in?

  15. tony Says:

CHANGE!… What will be left in our pockets. Today was my first vote in our nations great democracy, and maybe the last demorcratic election we have. Tanner i agree with you, this is crazy how theyre calling states so early. the LIBERAL media is being hopeful.

  16. Tony Says:

come on people lets use our freedom of speech while we still have it!!!

  17. Roger R Says:

I voted for Ron Paul ?

  18. Roger R Says:

Does any one know what the constitution means by Freedom of Speech?

  19. Roger R Says:

    I guess not ? ?

  20. tony Says:

whatever it means, obama doesnt know it. we are in grave danger

  21. obamaramalama)8 Says:

Barack Obama was just elected 44th president of the United States. I am speechless!!!

  22. The Historian Says:

Coming Attractions under Obama: Higher Taxes, companies going out of business or going over seas, 30% unemployment, 20% interest rates

  23. Virginia08 Says:

Now that Obama has won Americans need to get their heads out of the sand, stop hating each other and focus on how to work together for a better America. The days of the 50s and 60s are over lets come together as one people, one land, and one president whom we support and respect. Even if you don't respect him you have to allow him a chance to do his job the best he knows how.

  24. Still Stunned Says:

Lets all just thank God that our new president can't do a whole lot without congress and the senate. Lets all pray that congress and the senate have more moral values. We need to start flooding our congressmen, senators and representatives NOW. We need to stop worrying so much about what MADONNA, BRITTANY SPEARS & other celebs are doing and start paying more attention to what our government is doing. Remember, we all ignored Madeline Murray O'Hare and thought she was a flake, but our children can not pray in school.

I'm stunned that despite the fact that this man is pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality & legalizing prostitution that this many people still voted for him. What does this say about the morality of our country? Skin color has nothing to do with this. WRONG IS WRONG.

  25. Still Stunned Says:

I agree with you. One state only had 5% of the votes in and the electorial votes were already cast. I really don't think that the popular votes count for anything. I think that the electorial votes are cast however they see fit .

  26. Still Stunned Says:

I was tempted to vote for Ralph Nader. Bless his heart- his name has been on every presidential ballot for the past several elections.

  27. Still Stunned Says:

What about what MLK said “not be judged by the color of their skin but the content of their character.” Nothing about Obama's stand on the moral issues has impressed me.

  28. Anonymous Says:

Obama is not even black. He is not the first African American president, he is the 1st Bi Racial president. He was born of a african american father and a white mother.

  29. Strong1986 Says:

I have an idea. How about everyone stop making up lies!!!! Taxes will go up no more under Obama than under McCain, Unless your wealthy, and if you are, tough, you can afford it!!!!

Second of all, I do not care if Obama is Black, White, Hispanic, or anything else. Our people, your friends, relatives, and co-workers have elected him with the popular vote and the electoral college! He is our president and soon to be a great one. I truely beleive that he has the people of this nation in his mind and heart! IT IS TIME FOR CHANGE!!!

If you are stuck on race. Get over it!
If you are stuck in your party. Get over it!
If you are stuck in religion. Get over it!

And finally, if you are threatening to move to Canada over a presidential election (no matter what your reason may be). Just shut up and go. You obviously do not hold American Ideals nor do you have faith in your countrymen who elected him. Do us all the favor! Good bye!

  30. holly Says:

Being Pro-Choice does not make you Pro-Abortion. Read a book and stop making accusations that are not true.

Just because you think it's wrong does not mean everyone thinks it wrong. Get over yourself.
