The Site
Election Geek was started on November 8th 2006 with the intention of becoming a comprehensive resource of news, information, analysis, history and insight into the 2008 Presidential Election as well as for the entire history of elections in the United States of America. After the 2008 Presidential election (which will be the first main focus) the site will begin cataloging historic presidential elections starting with the very first.
Each election will be covered in thorough detail telling of the candidates, their staffs, the electorate, the issues, the campaigns and more. Because each election will be covered in such detail this project will not be completed by the end of the 2008 election but will undoubtedly have just begun.
The goal of this site is to provide each visitor with an exhaustive deconstruction of everything occuring in the present political process while working to do the same for all past elections.
