The General Election


To be held November 4th 2008

2008 marks the 55th consecutive election for the presidency of the United States. It will be the first election since 1928 without an incumbant running in the primaries from either party.

Topping the ticket for the Democrats will be Senator Barack Obama and Republican Senator John McCain. The party nominees for Vice President are Democratic Senator Joe Biden and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

This will be the first election since 1964 where a United States Senator will be elected President.
