The second night of the Democratic National Convention focused on the economy and the message of undoing what Democrats see as the failed policies of President George W. Bush. The keynote speaker was Senator Mark Warner who gave an address about forming national unity and working across the political isle.

The night also saw a speech by Senator Hillary Clinton who spoke about party unity and urged the 18 milion voters who cast their ballot for her to support Senator Obama.

From the Official Web site

Millions of Americans are struggling to get by. The failed policies of the last eight years have betrayed the country’s values and left an economy out of balance. Barack Obama believes a strong economy is unattainable with a weak middle class. Tuesday’s Convention program will feature the voices of Americans who share Barack’s concerns and strongly support his detailed economic plan to grow the economy, create jobs, restore fairness, and expand opportunity.

Thursday August 28th 2008 - Change We Can Believe In

The fourth night of the Democratic National Convention moved from the Denver Pepsi Center to Invesco Field where more than 84,000 people watched Senator Barack Obama accept the Party nomination. The Obama campaign wanted to open the convention to average Americans and not just delegates. Several musical acts including Bon Jovi & Sheryl Crow performed.

On Thursday night, the DNCC will throw open the doors of the Convention and move to INVESCO Field at Mile High so that more Americans can be a part of the fourth night of the Convention as Barack Obama accepts the Democratic nomination.
