Obama’s List & The Fact Richardson is Not On It
June 11th, 2008
Making the rounds of all the blogs and TV channels is a report of names that are supposedly on Obama’s list of potential VP candidates. They include, in no particular order Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, John Edwards, Evan Bayh, Kathleen Sebelius, Ted Strickland, Mark Warner, Tim Kaine, Jim Webb, Bill Nelson, Jack Reed, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Tom Daschle, Ret. Gen. James Jones and Sam Nunn.
Not on the list? New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson who was beyond vocal in his desire to be Vice President for both Clinton and Obama. I think it is interesting because Richardson destroyed his relationship with the Clinton’s and jumped ship to team Obama. Now who knows if the reports of this list are accurate but the fact that Richardson’s name is not prominent is very interesting.
