Washington Times Suggests Kennedy Endorsement Did Little

February 5th, 2008

Finally, after all this time of hearing about the juggernaut, onslaught, race changing endorsement of Ted Kennedy the Washington Times has an article up mirroring my own thoughts. New polling suggests the endorsement did very little with actually moving voters.

Now let me qualify this. One I am not trusting a lot of the polling coming out over the weekend and we won’t truly know until later tonight whether or not the Kennedy helped in turning the tide for Obama. With that said, I will be looking at Mass. If Obama does better in Kennedy’s home state, where he has also been endorsed by the Governor and the other US Senator John Kerry, then something amazing happened with the endorsement. Also if Obama does very well with hispanic voters in California, again we may have evidence of a plus effect.

Beyond that, I seriously don’t think it did much but we will see.

Meanwhile for an alternative view check out Washington Post.
