FOX News host Chris Wallace called out Barack Obama and John Edwards for turning down requests by FOX News Sunday for either candidate to appear on the program. Senator Hillary Clinton appeared on the program in September.

I made it known I was against the Democrats decision to appear at FOX sponsored debates earlier in the year. I thought it was a stupid decision and though it played to the liberal base of the party it left these candidates looking like they couldn’t take tuff questions from the other side.

I do find it interesting, particularly for Barack Obama whose supporters seem to be claiming every day that he can reach out to Republicans, that the Senator refuses to sit down with a news network that is associated with conservatism. He will sit down with the president of Iran and Cuba but not a news network? Seems a little odd.
