How McCain Put His Campaign Back Together

February 5th, 2008

Jill Zuckman at the Chicago Tribune has a great piece about how McCain turned his campaign around.

Here is how he put his campaign back together: asking friends for help, cutting costs, adjusting his position on immigration, making the troop surge his cause and relying on a band of dedicated volunteers. Other ingredients included lots of talk, sheer will—and a good deal of luck, as McCain is the first to acknowledge.

“I realized a lot of things had to break my way, some of which weren’t under my control,” McCain said.

For true conservatives, MITT ROMNEY is the ONLY strong republican candidate.

McCain would be a good democrat consideration; that’s what McCain & Kerry thought in 2004 when McCain almost became the running mate for Kerry. How could someone who even considered running as democrat VP now campaign for the republican presidential nomination? As mentioned in others’ comments, McCain would be destroyed by the democrats. He may be a war hero, but so was RAMBO. Just because Rambo was a war hero, doesn’t mean he’d be a good president!

Huckabee is a conservative, but he can’t win against Hillary or Obama.

MITT ROMNEY IS THE CLEAR CHOICE FOR REPUBLICAN NOMINATION.
