Are Roy Blunt & Duncan Hunter the Same Person?

June 28th, 2007

You know I actually think a lot of people in Congress look alike but I was watching Missouri Congressman Roy Blunt on C-Span today and I ran across something startling. Look at these pictures:

Roy Blunt Duncan Hunter

He looks like California Representative Duncan Hunter! Worse than that they actually sound exactly the same too. Someone needs to look into this!

Frankly I had never heard Duncan Hunter speak until he started running for president and I hadn’t really paid much attention to him either. The likeness is scary though.

Duncan Hunter

November 9th, 2006

In case you missed it the 2008 Presidential Election Season actually kicked off a week and a day before the latest election when Representative Duncan Hunter (R- Calif) announced he was forming an exploratory committee to seek the presidency. Hunter is a sixty year old Vietnam veteran and current Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee.

In light of the exit polling from Tuesday’s election showing corruption was number one on the minds of voters Mr. Hunter’s candidacy could be complicated. He has been implicated in the Randy Cunningham Scandal, questioned about tax breaks for his home and was found to have a mountain of credit card debt. Interesting fact, though it was not his fault he lost that aforementioned home to California Wild Fires.

Still for the traditional Republicans he is a strong supporter of policing the border, funding our nations defense, his son served in Iraq and he has a strong anti-abortion record.
