Democrats Can Attend Michigan Event
September 20th, 2007
Earlier in the month Michigan broke Democratic rules and moved its primary to January 15th, ahead of New Hampshire. In response most of the candidates signed a pledge saying they would not campaign in the state. The problem? An Arab American Institute conference was to be held in the state and heavily attended by the candidates.
Today an exemption was given to the event allowing candidates to attend without fear of repercussions by the DNC.
